Go Organic this September with Tarantella’s Tinned Tomatoes

This month, we’re celebrating all things organic for Organic September! Harvested when ripe and juicy in the Salerno Region of Italy, our tomatoes – whether tinned, or made into passata or puree – are all organic! Meaning they’re completely free of additives, fertilisers, and grown without pesticides, as well as being GM free, so you can feel good about the food you’re using in your cooking.

Organic farming is a natural way of growing crops that is all about working with nature, not against it. Our farmers work with nature to feed the soil, protect and encourage wildlife, and control pests. The result? Good soil and healthy crops that are naturally more resistant to pests and diseases.

If you’re looking to cook yummy organic meals this September, here are a few of our favourites…

Gnocchi Bolognese

We’ve got you covered this meat-free Monday – or any day of the week – with this plant-based twist on an Italian classic. It has all the ingredients of a classic Bolognese – juicy tomatoes, meaty mushrooms, and (soya) mince – but without the meat. You can also go vegan by swapping the grated cheese for a dairy-free alternative.

Mediterranean Vegetable Puff Pastry Tarts

A colourful, veggie-packed treat, our Mediterranean Vegetable Puff Pastry Tarts are brimming with juicy peppers, earthy courgette, and red onion… and that’s before we even get started on our organic tomato passata and puree! It’s all wrapped up in flaky pastry, so you can have a little piece of summer on your plate as we step into autumn.

Homemade Pizza

We’re all about that base – that delicious, tomatoey pizza base, that is. Our organic passata and puree combine to create the perfect base for the toppings of your choice – and don’t feel constrained by the recipe. The toppings on this pizza can be mixed and matched to create endless combinations!

Salsa and Homemade Nachos

Forget streaming parties – the movie night is back! Impress your friends with our homemade Salsa and Nachos. Juicy plum tomatoes, white onion, and spicy jalapeno combine to make a dip with just enough kick!
